Bridgette Hudson
Life Reflections
Bridgette Monette Hudson was born on September 14, 1965, to John and Martha Smith, Bridgette was the youngest of three children and a bright spirit whose presence brought warmth, laughter and strength to all who knew her.
A proud United States Navy Veteran, Bridgette served her country with honor and commitment. Her service reflected her character—disciplined, loyal, focused, and full of heart. Bridget accepted Christ at a young age and carried her faith with her throughout her life.
Bridgette was the loving mother of two daughters, Olivia Iaun and RaAnne Smith, and the proud grandmother of 5 grandkids: Rhea, Roman, Isaiah, Jamal and Sarabi. She loved traveling, tending to her home, and was an exceptional gardener with a gift for nurturing beauty and peace. She cared deeply for her family and neighborhood and was a trusted presence in her community.
Bridgette is preceded in death by her father, John Smith, and her brother, John Smith Jr. She leaves to honor her memory: her mother, Martha Smith; her brother, David M. Smith (Rhonda Smith); her nephews and niece, Christopher Smith, Jonathan Smith and Simone Andrews and; two aunts, one uncle, cousins, extended family, neighbors, and dear friends who will forever remember her laughter, her wisdom, and her love.
